I cant come today because of the uncertain weather. My mom doesn't want to drive over the Dames Point with the potential of severe storms.

Tuesday (2-09-10)

Todd LovelaceDespite gnawing hunger pangs, the night shift was able to accomplish the following:

1.) Dave decided to cut off a large piece of OHMERtheX because it was going to interfere with a proper lift at the end of the match - the wheel mounts were running into the Tower of Power. New vertical frame members were fabricated and welded into the frame where aluminum flesh was rudely removed by the Girly Mon Saw.

2.) We layed out and drilledand tapped the 40 tooth sprockets that will drive the tipper/robot lifter arm.

3.) We had to mill the 40 tooth sprockets some to make them fit on the tipper/lifter arm.

4.) The lathe crew turned down the mounting hub on the 72 tooth jackshaft sprocket to provide weight relief.

4.) We had UNF Engineering school students in the shop watching the shennanigans/mayhem.

5.) Did I mention that we didn't have Union Break tonight because no-one had been properly assigned?

5.)Did I mention that we didn't have Union Break tonight because no-one had been properly assigned?

It's just about bedtime for us old geeksters. TL CG
